It seems Governor Walker used the redistricting law to reorganize our state to ensure a Republican advantage. Now, I know some of you will say that all politicians do this. And you are right.
However, Scott Walker took it to new levels of corruption by doing his redistricting behind close doors and (by having attorneys do the drafting) tried evoked attorney/client privilege in order to hide and deceive the final results.
Not only is that bad enough, but the attorneys' fees for both the redistricting, and now the trial, are well over a million dollars. School budgets, health and services cut, but money for corrupt actions seems to never run out for Governor Walker.
I guess the Republicans figure if you can't win elections based on what you believe in and how you serve your communities, then they have to do the next best thing... cheat.
