It took me a while before I was able to blog. I was hoping to, right after the election, but it was too close to Thanksgiving and I had to help my kids with their projects.
It did look positive, for a while, that we would get a budget deal cut well before the end of the year deadline. I actually was very uplifted that some agreement was formed for Greece's debt problem this week. But, alas, it looks like Congress is going to drag their feet on it till the last minute. Our country is very divided on this issue of who should bare the burden for the debt. Cutting entitlements or raising taxes on the rich. In order to come to some agreement, both parties have to realize that some in their base are going to upset and mad at them. The debt problem can not be solved by simply having one or the other. We must do both. There are going to people mad on both sides. So, Congress come to an agreement! The sooner you, the sooner we can all adjust to the changes. The procrastination needs to end now.
