Take for instance, the instant internet hit "Binders of Women". I suppose in the grand scheme of things, this remark, by itself, is not much. But this is not his first slip-up. Let's not forget his "I like to fire people", "Corporations are people" and the ever popular "47%" recording.
My problem is, we already had someone in office that was remarkably good at the gaffe, George W. Bush. There were books, calendars, blogs, etc. dedicated to President Bush's mis-speakings. And, if I am honest, it was embarrassing to have someone in charge who couldn't open his mouth without me cringing.
We all mis-speak from time to time. I, myself, have stuck my foot in my mouth, quite a few times. But Mitt Romney is starting to compile a good sized list of his blunders. So much so, that I think we have to ask ourselves as a nation "Do we really want to have someone like that in charge again?"
